Dr. Robinson Holistic Veterinarian

Dr. Robinson received her BS in animal science from California Polytechnic State University in 1991 and then pursued her veterinary degree at Oklahoma State University. She graduated from OSU in 1996. Dr. Robinson spent her first five years in practice working at emergency clinics in Santa Rosa, California and Arroyo Grande, California where she gained valuable experience and knowledge in emergency medicine. In 2000, Dr. Robinson moved to the Tahoe/Truckee area and started working at Sierra Pet Clinic and furthered her knowledge and experience in conventional/western medicine. She was employed there for 8 years before she decided to branch out on her own and pursue a holistic practice.

Wendy Robinson Holistic Veterinarian Dr. Robinson is trained in Acupuncture, Veterinary Spinal Manipulation Therapy (chiropractic), Homotoxicology and Chinese Herbal Medicine. She has special interests in nutrition, physical therapy, herbs and essential oils. She is currently undergoing a certification program through the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society ( IVAS) in Veterinary herbal chinese medicine. Dr. Robinson successfully completed her acupuncture training with IVAS in 2003 and received her certification in Veterinary Spinal Manipulation Therapy in 2008. In June of 2009, Dr. Robinson attended an extensive seminar on Homotoxicology. Dr. Robinson is passionate about learning and is constantly seeking new therapies in alternative/integrative medicine to help your pets.
