Laser therapy is a medical modality used to stimulate tissues on the cellular level by using light energy. This mechanism is called photobiomodulation which increases blood flow to tissues bringing them vital nutrients and removing harmful free radicals. Laser is often an adjunctive therapy to other modalities and treatments that we offer which has a synergistic effect during healing when coupled with acupuncture, VSMT, manual therapy and physical rehabilitation. We are excited to be able to offer our patients two options to receive laser therapy, whether in clinic or at home treatments. Our Class 4 laser unit is used in-clinic with a technician who is trained in using this higher powered unit and may also offer other modalities and feedback. We also now offer a Class 3b rental program for owners to treat their pets from home that allows for flexibility in how we can best meet your pets needs.
