If you get a ramp, be sure it is long enough that the ramp is not too steep and be sure it is stable and has good traction (rubber or carpet is best, not sandpaper).
Yoga mats are an excellent way to provide your pet traction on slippery floors so that they can continue to navigate in your home. You can purchase mats in larger rolls and then cut them to your desired length for specific areas in your home.
Booties may be necessary to protect your pets paws and toes from trauma if they drag or scuff their feet.
